COPYRIGHT PERMISSION

 

We researched and emailed the record lables that have been involved with Two Door cinema club to ask permision to use the song 'Undercover Martyn'.

Here is the email we sent:

 

Dear Copyright Holder, 

 

I am an A Level student studying media. We have been given the task to make a music video for a song of our choice. My group and I have selected 'Under Cover Martyn - Two Door Cinema Club'. We are huge fans and where writing to request your permission to use the sound track from the single. 

With your permission, this track would be used in my current A - Level music project where we must also must create an album cover and a magazine advert to accompany our music video. 

If we received you permission, this track would ONLY be used in an educational context and be viewed by my media class, my teacher and the OCR exam moderator. It would NOT be released to a large audience or uploaded to video viewing websites. 

The artist and your company would of course be full recognised throughout the production and the final video itself. A copyright notice can also be included in the records of the project. If this is required, please send further details.
